Initial Ecosystem Allocation

Airdrop Allocation

The initial allocation of the ecosystem is designed to honor existing community participants while establishing a clean, transparent foundation for the Base-native DGEN token. The allocation is structured around two primary community groups:

  1. Legacy DGEN Holder Redemption (1:1)

  2. LEAG Token Distribution (Reopened Allocation)

Legacy DGEN Holder Redemption

All legacy DGEN token holders—whether holding tokens on Ethereum or Polygon—are eligible to redeem their tokens for the new DGEN token on Base at a 1:1 ratio.

The migration and airdrop of legacy DGEN to Base is executed through a two-step process designed to ensure accuracy, security, and community oversight.

1

Automated Protocol Migration

All DGEN held within The DGEN Tavern and staked on DGENDAO.com on Migration Day will be automatically migrated from Ethereum and Polygon to Base.

Legacy DGEN balances in these protocol-controlled locations will be instantly converted 1:1 to the new Base-native DGEN. The total migrated amount will be transferred from the Royal Treasury into the appropriate Operations Wallet to maintain accurate accounting from the start. Users will be able to unstake and access their migrated DGEN directly from this wallet.

This step ensures that all actively engaged ecosystem participants experience a seamless, trust-minimized transition with no interruption to utility.

2

Governance-Approved Manual Claims

Legacy DGEN held outside of The DGEN Tavern and DGENDAO.com will require a manual claim process.

Each claim is submitted individually to and reviewed by the Community Council. Approval of each claim is subject to a Council vote, ensuring legitimacy, fairness, and protection against compromised supply and unaligned interests. Upon approval, the corresponding amount of Base-native DGEN is released from the appropriate Operations Wallet for accurate and transparent accounting.

This governance-gated step allows the DAO to honor legitimate legacy holders while maintaining strict control over circulating supply and preventing misuse.

Legacy DGEN Claim Window

The Community Council will accept claim submissions for 24 months from Migration Day to be voted on.

LEAG Token Distribution

All LEAG token holders are eligible to redeem their tokens for the new DGEN token on Base at a 1:0.033704 ratio. For every 1 LEAG held during the snapshot in July 2024 and unsold, 0.033704 DGEN will be eligible to be claimed. There will be two claims with these parameters that will each last 3 months. The first of two will start on Migration Day and span 90 days from the completion of the Migration.

The claims that fit the correct criteria above are not subject to a vote by the Community Council and will be distributed via the appropriate Operations Wallet.
