CoverQuest

CoverQuest is a season-long NFL prediction contest where participants select six games against the spread each week and compete for leaderboard position, seasonal rewards, and NFT utility advantages. Instead of a simple win/loss, the point differential is applied.

Weekly Pick Mechanics

Each week participants select six games from the weekly NFL slate and choose a side against the listed point spread.

If you select New York Giants +2 and the team loses by 8, your score for that selection is -6 because your team underperformed the spread by 6 points. The sum of all 6 of your picks determines your final score.

Incomplete Pick Penalty A penalty of -5 will be applied for every missed pick. Only make 4 of the 6 required picks? You will incur a -10 penalty for that week.

Gamechangers

Gamechangers are limited use abilities that modify scoring outcomes and introduce strategy layers beyond raw prediction accuracy. They are not required to play. They are skill amplifiers that reward timing and discretion. Most gamechangers will be tied to ownership in the KOD ecosystem. There are currently 4 Gamechangers that have been issued.

Core Gamechangers Every participant receives access to two Core Gamechangers at season start.

  • Castle Wall – Protects your pick by capping the worst outcome at zero points.

  • Let It Ride – Multiplies your score by 1.5x. But beware, losses are amplified too!

The number of times Core Gamechangers can be used depends on Knights of Degen ownership tier:

  • Royal Fam (25 Knights) - 10 uses

  • Noble (10 Knights) - 6 uses

  • Duke (3 Knights) - 4 uses

  • Knight (1 Knight) - 2 uses

  • Villager (0 Knights) - 1 use

NFT Gamechangers The second set of Gamechangers, Roundtable Decree and Clout Boost, are airdropped as NFT’s on Base at the beginning of each CoverQuest season.

  • Roundtable Decree – Drop your lowest score of the week. If unused throughout the season, drop your lowest week of the season. 1 NFT per Roundtable Knight

  • Clout Boost – Add 1 pt per correct pick. 1 NFT per Legendary Galactic Knight

Knights Pass

Season Battle Pass Format Knights Pass is an optional season-long battle pass that introduces expanded rewards and rotating prize offerings.

The Knights Pass is priced at $50 USD/USDC. Price in DGEN varies based on market price.

Owning a Knights pass does not impact weekly gameplay performance. It only affects reward eligibility.
