DGEN DAO Ecosystem Tiers

The DGEN ecosystem utilizes a dual status-tier framework designed to balance legacy ownership, active participation, and long-term alignment. These tiers define access, reward scaling, and eligibility across games and platform features while preserving flexibility and fairness. Tier status does not represent equity, ownership, or financial interest in any entity. Tiers exist solely to structure gameplay access, rewards, and optional features within the DGEN ecosystem.

The ecosystem recognizes two independent but complementary tier systems.

Knight Ownership Tiers

Knight Ownership Tiers are determined by the number of Knights of Degen NFTs held in a single wallet. These tiers reflect long-term commitment to the Knights of Degen ecosystem and preserve the legacy status of early supporters.

  • Villager - 0 Knights

  • Knight - 1 Knight

  • Duke - 3 Knights

  • Noble - 10 Knights

  • Royal Fam - 25 Knights

Knight Tiers are wallet based and evaluated at defined snapshot times specific to each product or season. Certain governance roles within the DGEN DAO, including eligibility for the Community Council, require ownership of at least one Knight of Degen NFT.

DGEN Ownership Tiers

DGEN Holding & Staking Tiers are determined by the amount of DGEN held or actively staked within approved DGEN ecosystem contracts. These tiers represent ongoing participation and economic alignment rather than ownership.

  • Villager - 0 DGEN

  • Knight - 7000 DGEN

  • Duke - 21000 DGEN

  • Noble - 70000 DGEN

  • Royal Fam - 175000 DGEN

DGEN tiers are designed to:

  • Scale reward eligibility and prize levels

  • Align incentives for active ecosystem contributions

DGEN tiers do not grant governance authority by default and do not alter gameplay mechanics or outcomes. They affect reward scope, not competitive fairness.
