Distribution

The distribution of the DGEN token is designed to provide a fair launch for the community, seed the ecosystem, and establish a foundation for future growth. Rather than pre-determining strict long-term allocations, DGEN DAO adopts an intentionally flexible model where token use, movement, and budgeting are governed by future DAO proposals, Council oversight, and annual community approved budgets. This initial distribution defines categories of token use but leaves exact amounts, schedules, and strategic deployment to community governance.

Distribution Philosophy

The distribution model is built on four core principles:

  1. Community-First — Early supporters, players, and NFT holders form the core of the ecosystem.

  2. Utility-Driven — Tokens are intended to power gameplay, staking, competition, and long-term seasonal rewards.

  3. Governance Controlled — The DAO, Community Council, and future proposal framework determine how tokens are deployed over time.

  4. Long-Term Sustainability — Supply must support years of fantasy contests, leaderboard payouts, seasonal events, and cross-project partnerships.

Initial Distribution Categories

At launch, the total supply is conceptually divided into the following broad categories. Exact allocations within each category are set by DAO vote or Year 1 budget after launch.

Community Claims & Holder Allocations

Tokens reserved for:

  • DGEN holders

    • Ethereum - 0x45f93404AE1E4f0411a7F42BC6a5Dc395792738D

    • Polygon - 0xdBb5Da27FFcFeBea8799a5832D4607714fc6aBa8

  • LEAG holders

    • 0x7b39917f9562C8Bc83c7a6c2950FF571375D505D

  • Future aligned communities (optional)

Ecosystem Rewards

Tokens designated for rewarding participants across all games incentivized with DGEN.

Because gaming demand evolves season to season, reward emissions are intentionally flexible and will be set periodically by DAO approved budgets.

Treasury and Operations

Tokens designated for long-term ecosystem support:

  • Liquidity

  • Cross-chain bridges

  • Infrastructure and backend services

  • Audit funding

  • Development Grants

  • Security Reserves

  • Year 1 Budget Allocations

The treasury is managed under community oversight and subject to formal governance once implemented.

Builders and Contributors

Tokens designated for ongoing contributions, contractors, and long-term ecosystem builders.

This allocation:

  • Is subject to vesting schedules

  • Unlocks gradually

  • Is tied to continued development

  • Is fully transparent

Specific percentages and vesting terms are finalized through governance.

Partnerships & Growth Initiatives

Tokens reserved for:

  • Cross-project collaborations

  • Fantasy sports partnerships

  • Gaming tournaments

  • Marketing Boosts

  • New user onboarding

  • External Integrations (sports data, platforms, etc.)

Allocations are released only according to approved proposals.

Governance over Future Deployment

One of the core strengths of the DGEN token distribution is that future deployment is not pre-programmed. Instead:

  • The DAO proposes and approves budgets

  • The Community Council ratifies key decisions

  • Token movements from the Treasury require structured proposals

  • Seasonal reward schedules are voted on by token holders

  • Major redistribution requires multi-sig and Council approval

Unallocated or Reserved Tokens

Any tokens not immediately assigned at launch remain under the DAO Treasury, where their use will be determined by:

  • Annual budget cycles

  • New game launches

  • Strategic ecosystem partnerships

  • Emergency votes for economic rebalancing

  • Burn proposals, if adopted
